About
Welcome to The Spinning Forchetta, an Italian culinary gem nestled in the heart of Liberty Township, Ohio. Located at 4444 Hamilton Middletown Rd, this charming eatery has captivated the local palate for years, offering a warm ambiance and a menu that bursts with authentic Italian flavors.
The heartbeat of The Spinning Forchetta lies not just in its food but also in the community it has fostered. Customers like Amber Burton, who have dined here for over 30 years, remind us of the restaurant's deep-rooted familial connection to its patrons. It's a place where nostalgia and taste intertwine, making every visit a delightful continuation of a cherished tradition.
The menu is a delightful exploration of classic Italian cuisine, starting with enticing starters like the garlicky brilliance of their Garlic Bread served with a side of hearty tomato sauce for just US$3.95, or the creamy, cheesy indulgence of Cheesy Garlic Bread at US$5.50. For those who crave something a bit more adventurous, the Fried Ravioli stuffed with jalapeño cheese (£US$8.95) is a must-try, perfectly complemented by the house-made marinara sauce.
Moving to the main event, their pizza offerings are nothing short of exquisite. The Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza at US$9.95 is a perfect choice for those simple cravings, while pizza enthusiasts will revel in the loaded flavors of The Works or the creamy allure of Chicken Alfredo Pizza, both priced at US$10.95.
Interestingly, the dishes here create connections beyond just flavor. As Kiba W experienced, the staff’s willingness to customize orders, such as mixing beef and cheese in their manicotti, exemplifies the restaurant's commitment to exceptional service. It's these personal touches that elevate your dining experience.
But the true magic happens in the details. As Scott Rooney attests, the rich, robust sauces and freshly made pastas—like the cannelloni and ravioli—are the stars of the show, while the complimentary breadsticks and soups add a layer of charm and abundance. And don’t overlook the desserts; the tiramisu and cannolis are light yet decadent finishes to your meal, often declared a "dream" by satisfied diners.
With its ornate Italian theme and a welcoming atmosphere, The Spinning Forchetta encapsulates the essence of traditional Italian dining. Each dish is crafted with love, bringing friends and families together through the joy of flavors. As you plan your next dining adventure, know that The Spinning Forchetta is not just a meal—it's an experience steeped in warmth, community, and authentic Italian goodness.
“ My family have been coming here for over 30 years (the original location previously) and have loved to see some of the same staff make the move! Every time I come I always get the spaghetti and meatballs and request a blush sauce (a mix of marinara and alfredo sauce.) If you haven’t tried the blush sauce ask for it! Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the creamy Italian dressing that is so delicious that I have even poured it on my spaghetti before! 5 times 30 years! ”
“ Amazing. Food was awesome. I had the fettuccine and it was superb. The service was amazing and the staff could not have been more friendly. For desert we had tiramisu and pistachio cake. Both were light and airy and had wonderful flavors. Will be back again. ”
“ Overall, my experience here was spectacular. The restaurant looks really nice and clean. It is a very ornate Italian theme. The service was extremely good. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. My wife and I went. She got cannelloni and I got ravioli. I don't recall seeing on the menu that breadsticks and soup or Salad were included. But they definitely are. The pasta with excellent. The pasta sauce was absolutely amazing. Extremely robust and flavorful. We got two orders of Meatballs to go along with it. They were sensational. I got minestrone soup and it was good. My wife's got potato soup and it was miserable. Hahaha. It needed salt and pepper for sure, lots of it too. Overall, I was extremely pleased with this place. I will definitely go back again. ”
“ This restaurant is ABSOLUTELY delicious! Hands down the best Italian food around...there spinach dip is a little bit of heaven Definitely will be returning! ”
“ This place is such an amazing find! No gatekeeping here!!! From start to finish everything was so yummy! Our server was amazing as well. We ordered the artichoke dip for an appetizer and so delicious. We ordered the Alfredo with shrimp and the manicotti (our server asked the kitchen if they could do both the beef and the cheese one for my husband as he was torn between the two) and he said they were both great. We finished with the cannolis and tiramisu and again, so delicious. Very pleased with this place, 10/10. ”
“ January 2024 Update: This restaurant is among one of my favorites for Italian food, friendly staff and atmosphere. Most recently, my fiance' Nancy finally chose a date for our wedding, with just 6 weeks to plan the entire event. Our waitress Layla told us about the adjacent Elks' Lodge banquet hall which is part of the same building as the restaurant and that the room had some dates available the challenge in finding a wedding and reception venue became a no-brainer. We booked the hall for New Year's Eve and the hall looked beautiful (see pictures included). We had around 60 guests and had the ceremony and reception including dinner, right there which made it super convenient for everyone. Layla worked with Nancy and I to make our wedding both special, and seamless. Everything from the wedding, reception and dinner went off with zero issues. I highly recommend this venue for both casual dining and special events, like our wedding! Previous Posting Below A favorite local restaurant with a classic Italian menu. The food, service, and atmosphere are always kept to a high standard. Price for dinner for two with drinks and dessert is around 65 with plenty of leftovers. ”
“ If your looking for a relaxing night out this is the place. Service was fantastic they were very busy and still worked there way to us. Food was great it came out looking like a picture. Will be going back. The fried ravioli with jalapenos and the marinara salsa was a great way to start. ”
“ Well run Italian restaurant with a great selection of dishes, drinks and wine is reasonably priced compared to other restaurants The food is great and sauces make to order by the owner/Chef ”
